15 year old Gunnar Roads (pronounced "Gunner") has been studying, practicing, and working hard at developing his talent as a guitarist, singer, and performer since he was 9. Along the way he has had the good fortune of making friends with some outstanding like-minded musicians interested in performing together as the Gunnar Roads Band. From San Francisco to Seattle, Gunnar Roads has been building his reputation as serious young musician, entertaining audiences at popular clubs, festivals, and other well attended venues throughout the Northwest. A highlight for the Gunnar Roads Band was being nominated for a 2007 Cascade Blues Association Muddy Award for "Best New Act", while a personal highlight for Gunnar Roads was being nominated for both a 2008 and a 2009 Portland Music Award for "Outstanding Achievement in Blues".
